The main challenge for the design of the compound was the very short length of the main face of the plot (7.40m). This led to the design of two narrow covered staircases that form a prominent structural element, leading from the one side of the plot to the other, through an open terrace built higher on floor. The surface finishing of the buildings inside and outside is made of white pressed putty for its smoother integration into the settlement\u2019s fabric and only the walls of the outer configurations are built of uncoated stonework."}
