Lithari is a new stone-built residence in the area of Vagia, on Serifos Island. It is developed in three individual volumes: one of them comprises the common areas of the residence (living room, kitchen, dining room, WC) and the master bedroom with its bathroom, while the other two comprise three more bedrooms with private bathrooms in each of them and auxiliary areas (storage, laundry room, etc.). A predominant element of the architectural solution is the large pergola in the center of the composition, which is fully protected from the north wind and comprises an outdoor kitchen, dining room and living room in continuation of the corresponding indoor rooms. The whole composition is largely submerged in the natural ground on its northern (rear) side, on the one hand, to allow for a softer integration into the landscape and, on the other hand, to allow for a more direct release and contact of the terraces with the natural environment on its southern (front) side. On the field, there is also a building constructed before 1955, which is being remodeled and converted into a guesthouse.
